    Upgrade your wheelchair for improved outdoor performance with this 24" (540 mm) 16-spoke aluminum wheel set, equipped with Kenda Nevegal 24" x 2" all-terrain pneumatic tires.

    These wheels combine 8 straight-pull spokes on the inside with 8 cross-laced J-bend spokes on the outside. This spoke configuration provides excellent lateral strength while maintaining rotational stability, making the wheels well suited for active wheelchair users and a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions.

    The lightweight double-wall aluminum rims, high-strength aluminum hubs, sealed precision bearings, and black anodized aluminum pushrims provide a strong, responsive wheel assembly without unnecessary weight.

    Benefits of the 16-Spoke Design

    The combination of straight-pull and cross-laced spokes provides strength where it matters most.

    The straight-pull spokes on the inside of the hub help increase lateral strength, particularly when the wheels are used with camber. The cross-laced J-bend spokes on the outside help improve rotational stability.

    Using heavy-duty 12-gauge spokes also provides additional strength while allowing the wheel to use fewer spokes than a traditional wheelchair wheel.

    The hub measures 1.875" from outside bearing to outside bearing.

    To determine whether your existing axle will work, compare the required axle length with your current setup. Take into account the 1.875" wheel hub width, the wheelchair's axle receiver/carrier width, and any spacers required.

    For quick-release axles, measure the effective axle length from under the adjustment nut to the beginning of the retractable locking ball.

    âš  Important Fitment Note

    Because the Kenda Nevegal tire is approximately 2" wide, additional clearance between the tire and wheelchair frame may be required.

    Longer quick-release axles and/or additional spacers may be necessary to move the wheels outward and prevent the tires from rubbing against the side of the wheelchair.

    Always verify your wheelchair's wheel size, bearing diameter, axle length, and frame clearance before ordering.
