Product Description
Heavy duty foam fill tire installation tool for 2 piece wheels used on power and manual wheelchairs
- Tire tool used for installing foam fills or solid polyurethane wheelchair or scooter tires on two piece rims
- This tool works by placing one rim half, the tire, and the other half of the rim onto the tool.
- Then place the top bar of the tool onto the top and tighten the nut to compress the whole assembly enough so you can attach the bolts to secure the wheel together - makes the process much easier and is a huge time saver
- Bars measure 9 inches in length making this tool suitable for wheelchair casters, and scooter and wheelchair rims up to 8 inches
- Threaded shaft measure 5/8" in diameter to fit a majority of wheelchair caster and drive wheel rims as well as scooter rims (tool works without bearings in place)

Some wheelchair drive wheels are attached to a hub instead of an axle meaning there is no hole in the middle for the threaded shaft of this tool to go through. If you have such a wheelchair wheel, this tool will not work.
