    Product Description

    Bring stubborn 2-piece wheel assemblies together with less wrestling using this heavy-duty foam-fill tire installation tool. Designed for wheelchair and scooter wheels, it compresses the rim-and-tire stack so the wheel bolts can be installed more easily.

    To use the tool, one rim half, the tire, and the second rim half are stacked onto the threaded shaft. Tightening the top bar compresses the assembly, helping bring the two rim halves close enough to secure the wheel hardware.

    The 9-inch bars are sized for wheelchair casters and compatible scooter or wheelchair rims up to 8 inches. The 5/8-inch threaded shaft passes through the center of the wheel, so the wheel must have a suitable center opening for the tool to work.

    • For foam-filled or solid polyurethane tires mounted on compatible 2-piece rims
    • Suitable for compatible wheelchair caster, wheelchair drive-wheel, and scooter rims up to 8"
    • Requires a center opening through the wheel for the 5/8" threaded shaft
    • Not compatible with wheel designs attached to a hub that do not have a center opening for the shaft
