Developed by Sun Components, these wheels combine a specialized 16-spoke configuration with lightweight double-wall aluminum rims and an innovative hub design for a durable, responsive wheelchair wheel assembly.
Each wheel features 16 heavy-duty 12-gauge spokes, with cross-laced spokes on the outside of the hub to improve rotational stiffness and radially laced spokes on the inside to support lateral strength when cambering the wheels. The squared heads of the inner spokes fit into dedicated channels within the hub to help prevent spoke rotation and loosening. A 1.87" bearing-to-bearing hub width, black anodized aluminum rims, and an 18mm inner rim width complete the wheel construction.
The Schwalbe Marathon Plus pneumatic tires feature an air-filled design with inner tubes and puncture-resistant construction for comfortable everyday mobility. Choose between black or silver hub finishes to customize your rear wheel configuration.
