 Product Description

This kit comes with two white pods and two red pod lights and one white and one red strip lights, a control box, two remote controls, zip ties and a wire harness.

The lights are all “PEEL AND STICK” making the installation very easy!

1. Your light kit comes completely assembled. To make sure nothing was damaged during shipping, connect the light kit to one 12 V battery to ensure it is working properly. Connect the red wire to the positive terminal and the black wire to the negative terminal of one 12 volt battery, press the buttons on the remote control to make sure it is working properly then disconnect until the rest of the kit is installed The white wire is the antenna.
2. Layout the light kit to get a plan where the user would like to attach each light. It is a good idea to point the white lights forward, the red strip across the back and the red pods out each side. Each pod light comes with 3 feet of wire; the strip light comes with 4 feet of wire which sometimes is too long. It is recommended to use wire ties to secure the excess wires from hanging or being noticeable.
3. Each part of this light kit has a connector, so you can unplug each light to make it easier to install and run the wire through the wheelchair and reconnect it. Each light has a “peel & stick” adhesive on back so it is very easy to install to a flat, clean surface. If a light does not stay attached a little superglue or zip tie will secure it. MAKE SURE ZIP TIES ARE POSITIONED SO THEY WILL NOT SCRATCH OR CUT THE USER. They can be very sharp.
4. Once the lights are attached, run the wires to the main harness. Plug the main harness into the control box. Connect the control box wires to one 12 Volt battery and secure the control box to prevent damage.
5. The remote controls should be placed where the user can easily reach them or on a keychain where they can be accessed.

These lights are very bright and should be installed where they are not obvious when they are not in use. Nobody wants their chair to have stuff hanging off of it. However, they should be installed in a location where they will not be blocked by body parts or cushions. They do not use very much energy so battery life should not be an issue.
